These images by photographer Steve Rusin were taken at a performance of Mike Bloomfield & Friends at the Rivoli Theater in Indianapolis, IN, on June 2, 1973. Steve has kindly given us permission to reproduce them here. Michael is seen playing his famed 1959 Les Paul Standard, a guitar that Gibson's Custom Shop has recently recreated with the Mike Bloomfield Signature model.
